Senior DevOps Engineer

TL;DR

Senior DevOps Engineer (Kubernetes/Linux): Managing and optimizing infrastructure for various tech clients with an accent on GitOps, container orchestration, and automation. Focus on implementing Kubernetes, ArgoCD, and OpenShift while ensuring network security and system scalability.

Location: Hybrid (Porto, Portugal). Must be based in Porto or possess EU citizenship/Portuguese work permit; office attendance required 2 times a week.

What you will do

• Design and maintain Linux-based IT infrastructure for various clients.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and GitOps workflows using Kubernetes and ArgoCD.
• Manage and orchestrate containers within OpenShift environments.
• Configure network architecture, including SSL certificates, reverse proxies, and load balancing.
• Build and optimize automation pipelines using Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket, and Artifactory.
• Maintain and tune web servers such as Apache, JBoss, and Tomcat.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of experience in Linux IT projects.
• Extensive knowledge of Kubernetes, ArgoCD, and OpenShift.
• Strong proficiency in Linux environments.
• Solid understanding of network architecture and security.
• English proficiency: B1 level or higher.
• Portuguese or EU citizenship, or a valid Portuguese work permit.

Nice to have

• Experience with Ansible or Terraform.
• Scripting proficiency in Python.
• Knowledge of Windows Server.
• Proficiency in French.
