Java Developer (Cybersecurity)

Location: Must be based in or able to work within the CEST timezone, with an office presence in Ghent, Belgium.

What you will do

• Write modular, testable, and efficient code using Java and other languages.
• Design and implement high-availability applications.
• Plan, document, and maintain new features for the security platform.
• Apply fundamental design principles to build scalable applications.
• Implement asynchronous programming patterns and optimize code for speed.

Requirements

• Must be located in or able to work within the CEST timezone.
• Fluent in English.
• Experience as a Medior or Senior developer capable of hitting the ground running.
• Strong background in Java and implementing automated testing platforms.
• Ability to research and tackle hard problems, such as parsing with ASTs.
• Comfortable working in an entrepreneurial environment and making architectural decisions.
