TL;DR

Senior/Staff+ Software Engineer (AdTech): Building and scaling the backbone of open-web video advertising with an accent on distributed systems, LLM-powered automation, and high-throughput event pipelines. Focus on taking complex product problems from ambiguity to production, designing reliable architectures, and integrating AI agents into human-in-the-loop workflows.

Location: Hybrid role with a 3:2 split (3 days in the office, 2 days flexible). Must be based in or able to work from Stockholm.

What you will do

  • Own the full lifecycle of product problems from discovery through to launch and iteration.
  • Design and maintain scalable distributed services with high observability and operational care.
  • Integrate AI into real product workflows, including evals, guardrails, and agent orchestration.
  • Weigh architectural tradeoffs and make technical decisions in an open, collaborative environment.
  • Raise the engineering bar through code reviews, mentoring, and technical direction.
  • Collaborate closely with peers to ship features that measurably change user behavior.

Requirements

  • Senior level: Proven experience owning complex systems end-to-end and shipping to production.
  • Staff+ level: Demonstrated ability to lead ambiguous, multi-month technical initiatives and drive architectural alignment.
  • Strong engineering fundamentals with experience in distributed systems and observability.
  • Full-stack range with proficiency in TypeScript and Node.
  • Experience shipping LLM or agent-based features in production, including tool use and guardrails.
  • High ownership mindset and ability to drive alignment across technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

  • Experience with the platform layer behind AI products (orchestration, eval infrastructure, tracing).
  • Background in high-throughput event pipelines, streaming data, or real-time systems.
  • Familiarity with BigQuery, ClickHouse, Airflow, or multi-cloud environments (AWS/GCP).
  • Domain expertise in AdTech, MarTech, or creative tooling.
