QA Engineer (Gamedev)

TL;DR

What you will do

• Ensure quality for backend-heavy changes, internal tools, and complex system integrations.
• Support the upcoming launch in a new region by testing connectivity and payment workflows.
• Investigate issues and validate data using PostgreSQL queries.
• Collaborate with the technical stream to maintain and improve legacy systems.
• Analyze logs and work with command-line tools to troubleshoot technical edge cases.
• Participate in the development and testing lifecycle, including documentation and release support.

Requirements

• 3+ years of QA experience in web or game products.
• Strong practical skills with DevTools, Postman, and web testing methodologies.
• Confidence with SQL (PostgreSQL) for data validation and investigation.
• Experience working with command-line interfaces and log analysis.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and release workflows.
• Ability to work effectively within a mature team environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with automation using Python.
• Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud infrastructure (AWS).
• Background in SDET-related tasks such as tooling or integration testing.
• Knowledge of GitLab CI release workflows.
• Experience using AI for professional tasks.
