What you will do

• Perform in-depth data profiling on source and target systems to validate data throughout the migration process.
• Define, document, and execute data quality rules to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
• Write and execute SQL queries (MySQL) and develop database logic using stored procedures and functions to validate large datasets.
• Collaborate with data engineers to provide feedback and remediate data quality issues quickly.
• Document findings and communicate technical results clearly to project stakeholders.
• Test BI Dashboards to ensure data integrity in reporting.

Requirements

• Proven experience in QA testing for large-scale data migrations within the public sector.
• Strong proficiency in SQL.
• Understanding of ETL workflows and data transformation processes.
• Experience with data quality tools such as Great Expectations, Microsoft Purview, or YData-Profiling.
• Must possess or be eligible for SC and NPPV3 security clearances.
• Pre-existing right to work and travel within the UK is required.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Oracle or other relational databases.
• Experience with case management or enterprise systems.
