Senior Security Analyst

TL;DR

Senior Security Analyst (Cybersecurity): Managing and tuning security technologies to detect and respond to incidents within a global security operations framework with an accent on incident management and vulnerability assessments. Focus on optimizing SIEM/EDR tools, performing network security reviews, and scaling the security operations program.

Location: Hybrid (3 days per week in London, UK)

What you will do

• Investigate, analyze, and report on security events, incidents, and intrusions.
• Perform periodic network security assessments and coordinate mitigation and remediation.
• Research and evaluate security vendors and products to meet company needs.
• Serve as a technical SME to advise on security issues and implement policies and procedures.
• Ensure the integrity of data, systems, and protection of confidential information.
• Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams and non-IT business units.

Requirements

• University/Technical degree or relevant professional work experience.
• Prior experience in defense in depth analysis, incident response, and managing security devices.
• Extensive knowledge of SIEM, EDR, Web/Email Gateways, and Cloud Security.
• Proficiency in network protocols, TCP/IP, packet analysis, and firewall/IDS/IPS.
• Ability to use scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell.
• Must be based in or able to work from London (Hybrid - 3 days per week in office)
