What you will do
- Review and resolve orders and inventory exceptions tied to customer deliveries, including OS&D processing on inbound receiving and exception accounting at delivery while matching results to the ERP system.
- Process returns, exchanges, and exceptions that result in return inventory to enable accurate reverse logistics back to origin or clearance outlets.
- Assist with quality/product status changes and holds for customer orders to mitigate negative impacts and communicate outcomes.
- Review and action logistics help request tickets from internal teams and external partners, with emphasis on customer sales orders.
- Collaborate with internal business teams within and outside Supply Chain to support scheduled and as-needed task/project goals.
- Continuously improve accuracy and efficiency by understanding ERP, WMS, and related order management system interactions and addressing variances cross-functionally.
Requirements
- 1+ year of inventory control experience (e.g., cycle counting, WMS/ERP research and corrective actions, or sales order exception auditing and processing).
- Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Teams) and inventory management tools.
- Understanding of logistics and warehousing practices, including order processing, picking, shipping, and delivery/return processes.
- Ability to collaborate and influence cross-functional discussions with strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Work onsite at the Boston Heights Corporate Campus main building.
