What you will do

• Monitor and maintain data platform infrastructure, troubleshooting failures and identifying root causes.
• Deploy and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform, AWS, and Kubernetes.
• Develop Python and bash automation to reduce manual toil and improve platform reliability.
• Design and operate role-based access control and governance across cloud and BI platforms.
• Build and troubleshoot data pipelines and transformations for analytics and finance workflows.
• Integrate and improve AI-assisted engineering workflows using Claude Code-based tooling.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in data engineering, software engineering, DevOps, or platform engineering.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud operations, including IAM, networking, and compute.
• Proficiency in Python for automation and internal tooling.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform.
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and containerized deployment patterns.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote-first, distributed team environment.

Nice to have

• Advanced SQL skills.
• Experience with EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service).
• Familiarity with data platform tools like Snowflake, dbt, or Airflow.
