What you will do
- Document Stripe products through conceptual overviews, task-based guides, APIs, and tutorials.
- Maintain content quality by curating information, incorporating user feedback, and analyzing performance.
- Partner with developers, product teams, and support engineers to ensure technical accuracy.
- Implement new methods for authoring, analyzing, and interacting with technical content.
- Work autonomously in a dynamic environment to support multiple product launches.
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional technical writing experience.
- Proficiency in HTML and Markdown.
- Conversant with Git and VSCode.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and precisely.
- Strong collaborative skills to partner with other technical writers and cross-functional teams.
Nice to have
- Experience with backend languages such as Ruby, Go, Python, PHP, Node, or Java.
- Experience managing large information architecture projects.
- Experience balancing multiple concurrent product launches.
