What you will do

• Lead and grow a high-leverage team of senior and staff security engineers.
• Define and execute the security-engineering roadmap, standards, and budget.
• Implement AI-first security capabilities to help engineering teams build more secure systems.
• Secure AI-assisted and agent-driven development workflows across the organization.
• Partner with product teams to mature core cloud defense and AI workload protection.
• Represent security interests to executives and major customers.
• Automate compliance frameworks like ISO 27001 and SOC 2 into continuous assurance.

Requirements

• Must be based in the USA
• 7+ years in security or software engineering with 4+ years in leadership roles.
• Proven experience managing roadmaps, outcomes, and budgets.
• Deep technical foundation in cloud security, Kubernetes, and modern CI/CD.
• Experience using AI and agentic tooling for security delivery.
• Strong product-partnership instinct and executive-level communication skills.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with eBPF and runtime security concepts.
• Experience building internal developer platforms or secure scaffolding tooling.
• Background in promoting AI workloads or shipping AI security capabilities.
• Public speaking, writing, or open-source contributions in the security space.
