What you will do

• Define platform strategy, roadmap, and success metrics as an internal product owner for multiple product teams.
• Manage custody and financial infrastructure, including Fireblocks and Uphold, to ensure secure asset movements.
• Oversee KYC, Travel Rule, and compliance platform capabilities to ensure regulatory readiness and MiCA requirements.
• Maintain platform SLAs, uptime targets, and establish robust incident management and monitoring processes.
• Lead and mentor a cross-functional platform engineering team, driving architectural decisions and engineering standards.
• Collaborate with Product, Security, and Legal teams to scale inner-source engineering practices.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience leading platform, infrastructure, or core engineering teams.
• Strong background in fintech, payments, digital banking, or crypto financial infrastructure.
• Practical experience with custody platforms (e.g., Fireblocks) and deep understanding of KYC/AML providers.
• Experience defining and managing platform reliability, SLAs, and incident management processes.
• Strong Node.js background with the ability to review architecture and production code.
• Experience owning platform budgets, roadmaps, and business priorities.

Nice to have

• Experience with MiCA implementation.
• Background in Bitcoin, crypto, or Web3 infrastructure.
• Experience implementing inner-source engineering practices or leading large-scale architectural transformations.
• Familiarity with Flutter architecture and mobile platform development.
