KYCB Analyst (Spanish Market)

What you will do

• Validate complex customer and company profiles, including corporate structures, beneficial ownership, and business models.
• Review KYC/KYB documentation throughout the customer lifecycle, including passports, DNIs, company registration certificates, financial statements, and proof of address.
• Apply additional scrutiny to cases involving non-EU shareholders and make compliant account-opening decisions under Banco de España guidelines.
• Communicate with Spanish clients in writing and verbally to request documents, explain requirements, and unblock cases.
• Collaborate with Anti-Financial Crime, AML, Fraud, and frontline operations teams on exceptions, escalations, and risk signals.
• Identify bottlenecks and improve procedures against a team target of 15 hours per validation and a quality target of 99.5%.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in KYC/KYB, customer care, compliance, fintech, banking, or regulated customer operations, including reviewing real documentation and justifying decisions.
• Ability to review complex legal and company documents, identify inconsistencies, and make structured decisions under ambiguity.
• Fluent written and spoken Spanish.
• English proficiency for hirify.global's internal communication.
• Proactive ownership, including identifying bottlenecks, taking initiative on pending cases, and escalating appropriately.
• Ability to prioritise complex cases, balance lead-time targets with quality, and track pending validations accurately.
