Java Architect (Fintech): Designing and modernizing backend integration components for a large-scale financial platform with an accent on microservices architecture and enterprise system integration. Location: Hybrid from Gdynia, Gdańsk, or Warszawa (2-3 days per week in office)

Salary: 1000–1300 PLN/day (B2B)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and support Java-based microservices and integration components.
• Lead application modernization and rearchitecture initiatives for enterprise systems.
• Develop integrations between IMSecurities and other Nordea systems.
• Participate in requirement analysis, system flow design, and deployment planning.
• Troubleshoot production issues and promote good development practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile Scrum environment.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Java backend development in enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases (Oracle preferred).
• Experience with messaging and event-driven integration (IBM MQ, Kafka).
• Familiarity with containerized environments and Kubernetes.
• Experience with REST services, microservices, and integration patterns.
• Fluent English is required for daily international communication.

Nice to have

• Experience in banking or trading environments.
• Knowledge of cloud-ready application design.

• Practical experience with test automation and AI-assisted development tools.
