What you will do

• Produce high-quality materials using Substance Designer, Substance Painter, ZBrush, or other preferred DCC tools.
• Collaborate with the Lead and Art Director to ensure materials align with art direction, style, and target quality.
• Work closely with Level Artists to create materials that are functional and convenient for environment construction.
• Maintain the integrity and uniformity of the material library.
• Set up and blend materials within the game engine to ensure they function and look correct.
• Research and implement the latest industry trends and technical techniques.

Requirements

• Deep proficiency in Substance Designer and a strong understanding of PBR standards.
• High proficiency with Maya or similar DCC software.
• Experience working with Megascans.
• At least one shipped title within the game industry.
• Knowledge of material optimization for real-time engines and material blending systems.
• Strong communication and mentoring skills.
