What you will do
- Develop and execute a proactive external communications and media relations strategy for the LR division in Europe.
- Build divisional narratives and thought leadership to increase visibility in business, technology, and legal industry publications.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on media strategy and executive positioning.
- Manage external PR agencies to ensure high-quality media opportunities and reporting.
- Coordinate between divisional priorities and enterprise brand positioning within a complex matrix organization.
- Lead issues and crisis communications, including messaging development and external response coordination.
Requirements
- 10+ years of significant experience in external communications and media relations.
- Proven track record of executing media strategies in B2B, technology, or highly regulated industries.
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and operate in a matrix organization.
- Fluency in English required.
- Based in the Netherlands (preferred) or Europe.
Nice to have
- Experience in legal, legal technology, or related industries.
- Proficiency in Dutch, particularly for media engagement in the Netherlands.
- Interest in applying AI/GenAI tools in communications workflows.
