What you will do

• Lead financial planning, reporting, and forecasting processes.
• Manage cash flow, capital allocation, and risk management strategies.
• Implement scalable financial systems, including invoicing and revenue collection.
• Support fundraising activities, specifically preparation for the Series B round.
• Oversee payroll and manage relationships with external accountants in the UK and US.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards.

Requirements

• Must be based in London or able to work from the Shoreditch office 3 days per week.
• Proven experience in a hands-on finance operations role at a high-growth startup or scale-up.
• Strong understanding of financial regulations, reporting standards, and financial modeling.
• Pragmatic, hands-on approach to solving complex financial challenges.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in an autonomous, high-ambiguity environment.

Nice to have

• ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification.
• Experience with venture-backed startups and equity fundraises.
• Familiarity with AI-native tooling in the finance stack.
• Exposure to international finance and multi-entity structures.
