What you will do

• Lead and mentor a team of engineers focused on integrating ML models into large-scale production software.
• Define the technical direction and roadmap for model integration workflows, prioritizing automation and developer productivity.
• Drive the design of tools and platforms to move models efficiently through simulation, testing, and production.
• Collaborate with ML engineers, infrastructure, and platform teams to ensure seamless model validation and release.
• Optimize model onboarding, configuration management, and observability across the integration lifecycle.
• Establish high-standard engineering practices for quality, governance, and operational excellence.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in ML systems, software infrastructure, platform engineering, or large-scale software domains.
• Strong proficiency in Python and at least one systems programming language such as C++.
• Experience building internal platforms, workflow automation, or developer-facing infrastructure.
• Proven track record of integrating complex ML models into production systems with a focus on reliability and observability.
• Experience developing and debugging software in Linux-based environments.
• Must be based in or authorized to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience with autonomous systems, robotics, or advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).
• Expertise in ML deployment pipelines, model packaging, and production inference workflows.
• Experience building self-service engineering platforms to improve delivery speed.
• Knowledge of determinism and release gating for distributed systems.
• Experience using AI-assisted tooling to optimize software development or ML workflows.
