What you will do

• Create and review medical and scientific content including Scientific Response Documents (SRD), FAQs, slide sets, and abstracts.
• Ensure MLR readiness by performing pre-submission quality and compliance checks to reduce rework cycles.
• Conduct rigorous source-to-output verification of numerical data, statistical values, tables, and citations.
• Perform comprehensive editorial reviews aligned with AMA style, ICMJE guidelines, and internal standards.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects using Veeva Vault for content review and workflow management.
• Mentor junior editors on editorial workflows, tools, and quality standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or pharmaceutical stream.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, Medical Information, or Medical Communications.
• Valid work permit in the United States of America.
• Proficiency in scientific editing aligned with AMA style and ICMJE guidelines.
• Demonstrated experience in editorial quality checks, proofreading, and reference validation.

Nice to have

• Advanced scientific degree (PharmD, PharmM, or PhD).
• AMWA certification or formal training in English/scientific medical writing.
• Proven experience in project management and client relationship management.
