Graduate Accounting Analyst

What you will do

• Prepare monthly results, including variance analysis and commentary, and present drafts to business directors/department heads.
• Produce revenue and expenditure forecasts with variance analysis and discuss forecast outcomes with business stakeholders.
• Own reconciliation and control of designated profit & loss and balance sheet accounts across departments/countries.
• Compile the annual budget in collaboration with business director/department/country heads.
• Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and act as the finance contact for designated departments/countries.
• Contribute to month-end, forecasting, and budgeting activities to deliver timely, accurate reporting for senior management.

Requirements

• Graduate with a 2:1 or above, preferably in finance, business, economics, or mathematics.
• Minimum ‘A’ grade at Maths GCSE (or equivalent).
• Excellent written and spoken communication and interpersonal skills to work with stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous management accounting/financial accounting experience, especially interpreting results for financial and non-financial audiences.
• Strong Excel and analytical skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with BI/reporting tools and SAP.
