What you will do

• Pull data into the analytical layer and ensure it is queryable in collaboration with Cloud Engineering.
• Build interfaces for data retrieval, including MCP tools, APIs, and dashboards.
• Own the trust bar by building checks to ensure the accuracy of financial metrics.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate development and close technical gaps.
• Expand into new data domains and take ownership of metric definitions.
• Manage stakeholder relationships as the FinOps function grows.

Requirements

• Solid proficiency in Python and SQL for development and debugging.
• Comfort working in a greenfield environment with evolving architectural decisions.
• A strong builder mentality with a focus on shipping functional solutions.
• High curiosity and ability to pick up new technologies quickly.

Nice to have

• Experience with ClickHouse or similar analytical databases.
• Experience with LLM/MCP tool-use.
• Proficiency with BI and dashboarding tooling.
• Exposure to Cloud billing or FinOps practices.
