What you will do
- Translate organizational communication materials from English into Italian.
- Review translation work of other linguists to ensure high quality and accuracy.
- Provide and maintain translations for common Wikimedia terms.
- Collaborate on a rotating basis within a group of 3-6 translators per target language.
- Manage project assignments based on individual availability.
Requirements
- Fluency in English.
- Fluency in Italian.
- Experience communicating within the Wikimedia movement.
- Ability to provide translations within set timelines.
Nice to have
- Experience with the Translate extension used on Meta-Wiki and other multilingual wikis.
- Experience with WordPress or other content management systems (CMS).
