What you will do

• Own pricing and deal structure for complex enterprise deals, advising sales on commercial trade-offs in real time.
• Partner with engineering to maintain and evolve the Configure Price Quote (CPQ) tool.
• Translate customer requirements into deal structures that are commercially and operationally viable.
• Align Finance, Legal, Product, and leadership to ensure deals do not stall due to internal process complexity.
• Build deal-level P&L models and communicate pricing trends to inform strategic leadership decisions.
• Develop pricing frameworks, discount guardrails, and approval policies that scale with the business.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience configuring CPQ rulesets, price books, and approval workflows.
• Professional experience in finance or deal pricing, investment banking, or management consulting.
• Strong financial modeling, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Proven track record of process optimization or automation.
• Ability to make value judgments balancing business, financial, and legal priorities.
• Must be based in the USA and capable of working within EST, CST, or PST timezones.

• Knowledge of AI/ML industry pricing models and the competitive landscape.
• Experience scaling deal desk processes within a high-growth environment.
