Credit Risk Expert (Quality Assurance)

What you will do

• Execute independent 2LoD policy adherence testing using risk-based samples and established procedures.
• Conduct ad-hoc thematic deep dives when incidents or concerns arise regarding credit risk processes.
• Challenge the execution of credit risk management and control processes by 1LoD, Risk, and Global Credit Restructuring teams.
• Identify gaps and root causes to draft QA reports with actionable improvement suggestions.
• Monitor performance and support the timely remediation of identified issues.
• Participate in regulatory and audit engagements with bodies such as the ECB and internal/external auditors.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Risk, or a related discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in credit risk or related domains.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Proactive mindset with a structured approach to problem-solving and keen eye for detail.
• Ability to work in a hybrid setup in Amsterdam.
