What you will do

• Design and ship AI agent applications and harnesses to answer business questions over governed data.
• Develop core capabilities including retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), natural-language-to-query, and tool/function calling.
• Optimize AI output quality via prompt engineering, evaluation benchmarks, and guardrails.
• Collaborate on data models and pipelines to ensure agents reason over reliable business data.
• Implement strict data governance and security practices to meet financial-services standards.
• Provide technical leadership through design reviews and high engineering standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in production software, AI applications, and data pipelines.
• Hands-on experience deploying agentic AI applications in production.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, software engineering, and data modeling.
• Experience improving AI reliability through evaluation and quality measurement.
• Must be based in Singapore.

Nice to have

• Experience with semantic or metrics layers.
• Knowledge of modern cloud data platforms and frameworks such as Databricks, Spark, and dbt.
• Experience with streaming data pipelines using Kafka, Flink, or change-data-capture.
• Experience with low-latency analytics technologies like ClickHouse.
• Background in fintech, payments, or other financial platforms.
