Product Lead (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid (Tokyo, Japan). Must be based in Japan and work from the office at least 3 days per week.

What you will do

• Lead product direction for major finance super app areas.
• Define priorities, roadmaps, and success metrics across multiple features or squads.
• Guide PMs, designers, and engineers toward clear execution.
• Manage product decisions involving insurance, payments, and other financial services.
• Drive launch quality and continuous post-launch improvement.
• Build a product culture centered on speed, clarity, and user value.

Requirements

• Strong experience leading digital product areas.
• Ability to balance strategy, execution, UX, data, and business outcomes.
• Experience leading or mentoring PMs/POs or cross-functional squads.
• Comfortable with high ambiguity and senior stakeholder pressure.
• Must be based in Japan (Hybrid: 3+ days/week in office).
• Strong English communication skills (working language).

• Experience in fintech, insurance, payments, or regulated consumer apps.
