TL;DR

Location: Remote within the United States (excluding Hawaii and Alaska)

Salary: $62,462–$83,408 (based on national hourly range of $30.03–$40.10)

What you will do

  • Draft and compose legal correspondence, documents, and forms.
  • Manage electronic case files and maintain accurate records in a paperless environment.
  • Handle docketing, calendaring of appearances, and tracking of filing deadlines.
  • Provide administrative support for depositions, hearings, and medical examinations.
  • Perform e-filing with various California courts.
  • Coordinate scheduling and follow-up tasks for attorneys.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience as a Legal Secretary or equivalent.
  • Must be authorized to work indefinitely in the US (no visa sponsorship).
  • Deep understanding of California Court venue rules and e-filing processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, Teams, OneDrive, and Adobe PDF manipulation.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage sensitive, confidential information.
  • Advanced knowledge of legal terminology and procedures.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Active Notary license.
  • Experience with e-Docs and Team Connect.
