TL;DR

Location: Hybrid working - 3 days in the office (London), 2 remote

What you will do

  • Partner with copywriters to develop conceptually strong, insight-led integrated campaign ideas that drive both visual and verbal thinking.
  • Lead the visual direction of campaigns across TV, film, digital, social, print, OOH, CRM, retail, and experiential formats.
  • Direct designers, motion specialists, photographers, and illustrators to maintain creative integrity from concept to final delivery.
  • Interrogate briefs critically to solve business problems through specific visual and conceptual approaches.
  • Present and champion creative visions to stakeholders at all levels, refining work based on strategic feedback.
  • Apply expertise in technical requirements and AI-enhanced capabilities to deliver future-focused creative outputs.

Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience as an Art Director within an advertising agency, creative studio, or in-house team.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating both conceptual thinking and visual craft across multiple channels.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and digital design tools such as Figma.
  • Experience directing photography and film shoots.
  • Background working on major consumer brands with defined, consistent visual identities.
  • Must be based in or able to work hybridly from London (3 days/week).

Nice to have

  • Experience in telecoms, technology, or complex B2C categories.
  • Award-winning creative work recognized by industry bodies like D&AD or Cannes.
  • Experience directing motion, animation, or digital interactive work.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted creative tools and emerging visual production techniques.
