What you will do
- Oversee, setup and manage on-premise hardware and cloud-based video pipelines for live sports augmentation.
- Build automations, runbooks, and dashboards to resolve complex live production issues quickly.
- Serve as the primary technical lead during live sports broadcasts to ensure stable delivery of video, audio, and metadata.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to design and propose new features and scalable workflows.
- Assist with testing and test automations as part of feature development prior to live deployment.
- Contribute to operational planning, resource allocation, and process documentation.
Requirements
- Experience in video production, transportation, or streaming services, particularly in the sports industry.
- Strong understanding of video technology, connectivity, and streaming protocols.
- Basic knowledge of cloud computing, preferably with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Network troubleshooting skills to assist with in-venue video delivery.
- Basic coding skills in Python or JavaScript.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by sporting events.
