TL;DR
Legal Assistant (Corporate Services): Providing administrative and legal support for contracts, corporate records, and compliance operations with an accent on document lifecycle management and governance tracking. Location: Must be based in or near Burnaby, British Columbia (Hybrid role)
Salary: $31.25 - $38.46 hourly (approx. $65,000 - $80,000 annually)

What you will do
- Prepare, edit, and organize contracts, agreements, and corporate records.
- Coordinate contract execution processes and maintain document version control.
- Track contractual obligations, renewal dates, and insurance requirements.
- Maintain corporate minute books and support corporate filings and registrations.
- Assist legal counsel with litigation, claims management, and dispute documentation.
- Support the implementation and use of legal management systems and compliance initiatives.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a law firm or in-house legal department.
- Legal Administrative Assistant Certificate or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to work in a hybrid capacity in Burnaby, BC.
Nice to have
- Experience with corporate compliance filings and minute book maintenance.
- Background in litigation support or document production.
- Familiarity with contract lifecycle management (CLM) or legal operations technology.
