What you will do

• Define and maintain software configuration management (SCM) strategies, processes, and tools for complex software systems.
• Manage baselines, version control, and change control throughout the product lifecycle.
• Support development teams in implementing branching, merging, and release strategies.
• Ensure full traceability between requirements, code, builds, and delivered configurations.
• Collaborate with DevOps and build/release teams to optimize CI/CD workflows.
• Manage the integration of supplier and third-party software from a configuration perspective.

Requirements

• University degree in software engineering, IT, or a related field.
• Proven professional experience in software configuration management or a similar role.
• Strong proficiency with version control systems (e.g., Git) and branching strategies.
• Hands-on experience with build, release, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English.
• Must be able to pass a security vetting process based on current security protection regulations.

• Experience in large-scale or safety-critical development environments.
• Knowledge of configuration management standards and frameworks.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
