Senior Product Security Engineer/Architect (Fintech)

What you will do

• Own product security for the hirify.global suite, including PROTECT, CAPITAL, EXPLORER, and NETWORK.
• Design and contribute to security architecture for HSMs, confidential computing, MPC, and cryptographic systems.
• Perform deep security reviews of application code, cryptographic workflows, and smart contracts.
• Build and maintain automation for security guardrails across CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes environments.
• Lead penetration tests, reproduce findings, and collaborate with engineering teams to ship fixes.
• Translate regulatory and compliance requirements into practical technical controls and support client audits.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work in a hybrid setup in Lausanne, Switzerland.
• Master or PhD in Computer Science, IT Security Engineering, or Cryptography.
• 7+ years of experience in application, product, or offensive security, preferably in regulated financial environments.
• Strong security code review experience in at least two of: Go, C/C++, TypeScript, or Python.
• Expertise in applied cryptography (PKI, TLS, X.509, AES, RSA, ECDSA) and HSM technologies (PKCS#11).
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Nice to have

• Experience with Blockchain, smart contract security, MPC, and threshold signature systems.
• Knowledge of security compliance frameworks such as FINMA, DORA, MiCA, ISO 27001, or SOC 2.
• Public security research, CVEs, or active bug bounty experience.
• Experience with Intel SGX, AMD SEV-SNP, or AWS Nitro Enclaves.
