Location: Must be based in Sydney, Australia (Hybrid: 4 days on-site per week, with flexibility to transition to 3 days).

What you will do

  • Partner with operational leaders across Australia to foster safer and more engaged workplaces.
  • Lead incident investigations and manage complex workers' compensation cases.
  • Coach managers through psychosocial risks and safety-related challenges.
  • Drive meaningful safety improvements and evolve systems beyond standard bureaucracy.
  • Leverage AI tools to identify safety trends, improve reporting, and streamline administrative tasks.
  • Present safety insights and data to senior leadership to influence decision-making.

Requirements

  • Must be based in Sydney, Australia or able to work on-site at the Sydney facility.
  • Proven experience in WHS roles within fast-paced operational environments like manufacturing, FMCG, or logistics.
  • Deep knowledge of Australian WHS legislation and workers' compensation processes.
  • Strong ability to build credibility through relationships and coach leaders effectively.
  • Practical, commercially minded approach to balancing compliance with operational needs.
  • Curiosity about applying AI to improve safety outcomes and reduce administrative burden.
