Staff React Native Engineer (Fintech)

Location: Must be based in the U.S. with a hybrid work schedule requiring in-person collaboration in Culver City, CA, San Francisco, CA, or Dallas, TX.

What you will do

• Lead feature and infrastructure initiatives including performance, logging, and library development.
• Collaborate with Product and Design teams to refine requirements and deliver high-quality product launches.
• Drive the release process and propose new technical initiatives.
• Coach and mentor junior developers while ensuring team deliverables meet deadlines.
• Establish engineering best practices and make data-driven technical decisions.
• Promote a culture of accountability, autonomy, and open communication.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience architecting and building complex mobile applications in React Native.
• Strong technical aptitude with modern stacks including GraphQL, Git, and monitoring tools like New Relic or Data Dog.
• Proven ability to lead projects and mentor team members.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, ego-less mindset.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Nice to have

• Native iOS or Android development experience.
• B.A. or B.S. degree in Computer Science or a relevant field.
