TL;DR

Head of Physical Security (Corporate Security): Leading the global physical security function to protect people, workplaces, and intellectual property for a semiconductor leader with an accent on global strategy, risk-based governance, and incident response. Focus on building a modern intelligence-led security operating model, integrating physical and cyber responses, and managing enterprise-scale security technology.

Location: Onsite in Santa Clara, CA (Remote and hybrid arrangements are not available)

Salary: $187,790 – $281,300 per annum

What you will do

• Define and lead the global physical security strategy, governance, and standards across all corporate offices, labs, and engineering sites.
• Oversee the protection of employees, visitors, and critical infrastructure through access control, surveillance, and perimeter protection.
• Develop a global risk assessment framework and lead response to threats, workplace violence, and geopolitical disruptions.
• Modernize the security technology ecosystem and define the roadmap for a 24/7 Global Security Operations Center (GSOC).
• Manage the global security budget and lead a diverse team of internal employees, contractors, and vendors.
• Advise senior executives on security risks and represent the company with law enforcement and intelligence agencies.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in physical security, corporate security, law enforcement, or military intelligence.
• 8+ years of leadership experience managing global or multi-site physical security programs.
• Expertise in security technology (CCTV, access control, GSOC) and building enterprise-level governance frameworks.
• Proven track record in crisis management, threat assessment, and executive protection.
• Experience managing large-scale budgets and external security vendor partnerships.
• Must be based in or be able to work onsite in Santa Clara, CA.

Nice to have

• Experience in semiconductor, data center, or critical infrastructure environments.
• Certification such as CPP, PSP, PCI, CISSP, or PMP.
• Experience building Fusion Centers or integrating physical/cyber incident response models.
• Experience embedding security requirements into facility design and construction.
