What you will do

• Manage GitHub Enterprise governance, including repository policies, access controls, and rulesets for over 10,000 users.
• Execute critical platform migrations, specifically Enterprise Managed Users (EMU) and Identity Hub integrations.
• Lead the organizational rollout and administration of GitHub Copilot and AI-assisted development guardrails.
• Automate platform operations and governance using the GitHub API and GitHub Actions.
• Collaborate with InfoSec, IAM, and Datasec teams to ensure compliance and satisfy audit obligations (e.g., KPMG).
• Partner with Product Managers to align internal platform strategy with GitHub's official product roadmap.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience administering GitHub Enterprise at scale (10k+ users), including EMU and rulesets.
• Hands-on expertise with GitHub Copilot administration and organizational-level rollout.
• Proficiency with GitHub API, GitHub Actions, CODEOWNERS structures, and branch protection patterns.
• Experience operating within a regulated engineering organization, understanding the intersection of InfoSec, IAM, and Datasec.
• Proven track record of cross-functional collaboration with security leadership and engineering stakeholders.
• Must be based in Bogota, Colombia to support the hybrid work model.

Nice to have

• Experience shaping AI-adoption strategies as they intersect with developer tooling and platform policy.
• Familiarity with running GitHub Enterprise in multi-business-unit or multi-pack organizational structures.
• Experience partnering directly with Big Four auditing firms on compliance evidence or remediation.
