TL;DR
Automation Support Staff (DevOps): Designing and delivering end-to-end infrastructure and application delivery automation for hybrid cloud environments with an accent on Kubernetes orchestration and configuration management. Focus on building scalable CI/CD pipelines, implementing GitOps workflows with Argo CD, and optimizing production cluster operations.
Location: Hybrid (expectation to work on average 2 days per week from an HPE office)

What you will do
- Architect and deliver end-to-end automation for infrastructure and application delivery in on-premises and hybrid cloud environments.
- Design and maintain reusable automation components using Chef or Ansible.
- Deploy, configure, and operate production Kubernetes workloads using Helm and Argo CD.
- Define and own enterprise container build and release architectures leveraging Docker.
- Design and operate scalable, reliable, and secure CI/CD pipelines.
- Provide engineering-level support for deployed platforms to ensure operational stability and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or an equivalent technical discipline.
- 8+ years of experience working within software engineering or product development teams.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in infrastructure and platform operations (servers, storage, virtualization).
- Proficiency in automation-focused programming: Ruby, Python, Bash, and PowerShell.
- Mandatory hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Helm, and GitOps (e.g., Argo CD).
- Working knowledge of hybrid and multi-cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, GCP, OpenStack, and VMware.
