What you will do
- Design, implement, and maintain E2E automated tests in TypeScript alongside application code.
- Collaborate with developers throughout the feature lifecycle to define test strategies and resolve defects.
- Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of the automation testing framework.
- Implement mocks, stubs, and test doubles to ensure stable and isolated tests.
- Ensure automated tests are reliable and suitable for execution in CI/CD pipelines.
- Participate in code reviews for both test and application code.
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of experience in test automation within product or platform teams.
- Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript/JavaScript and modern E2E frameworks like Playwright.
- Experience with REST API testing, data validation, and system-level testing.
- Understanding of the test pyramid, shift-left approach, and contract testing.
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar).
- English: Fluent (C1) required.
- Location: Must be based in Sofia, Bulgaria.
Nice to have
- Experience writing integration and contract-based tests.
- Practical knowledge of Docker and test environment configuration.
- Experience testing GraphQL APIs.
- Experience with distributed systems or high-load platforms.
- Knowledge of non-functional testing, including performance and resilience.
