What you will do

• Manage end-to-end EDR complaints from AFCA with a focus on early resolution.
• Conduct outbound conciliation and negotiation calls to de-escalate complex financial crime issues.
• Investigate suspicious activity and review internal SARs to identify money laundering risks.
• Cultivate relationships with AFCA case workers and law enforcement agencies.
• Perform rigorous QA and QC on FinCrime-related internal dispute resolution complaints.
• Analyze complaint outcomes to provide actionable insights for product and operations teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3+ years in financial crime investigations or 1+ years of SAR reporting experience.
• Proven experience handling complex disputes in the Australian financial services market.
• Fluency in English (C1+ level) with strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to work a variety of shifts, including nights and weekends.
• Strong critical thinking and experience with analytical tools like spreadsheets and network charts.

Nice to have

• Fluency in other languages.
• Degree in law or a STEM subject.
• Professional certification such as ICA or ACAMS.
• Experience in crypto or blockchain analysis.
