What you will do

• Quantify and communicate the performance of flexible assets, including grid-scale BESS and residential assets, to influence trading strategies.
• Build and maintain automated reporting and monitoring tools to assess both algorithmic and human-led trading strategies.
• Conduct in-depth quantitative analysis to identify trends, strengths, and areas for improvement in strategy performance.
• Translate complex data findings into clear, compelling insights for stakeholders, including traders, developers, and battery operations.
• Improve the quality, accuracy, and accessibility of performance data while identifying gaps in measurement.
• Research emerging market trends and competitor activity to support strategic commercial decision-making.

Requirements

• Experience working with large, complex datasets in data-heavy environments.
• Practical experience in quantitative and statistical work using Python.
• Familiarity with SQL, Git, and CI/CD tools.
• Ability to communicate complex technical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• A proactive mindset with a "simplification instinct" to move from manual workarounds to scalable, automated solutions.
• Must be based in or able to work in a hybrid arrangement in London, UK.
