What you will do

• Own end-to-end relationships with market data providers and exchanges, managing commercial, licensing, and operational discussions.
• Lead contract negotiations and lifecycle management independently, ensuring timely renewals and amendments.
• Ensure compliance with redistribution licensing and maintain accurate reporting for audits.
• Advise internal teams on licensing conditions and support product integration of new data sources.
• Establish governance processes for onboarding, usage policies, and audit trails.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and monitor market data policy changes.

Requirements

• Must be based in Berlin, Germany.
• 3–6 years of market data experience in vendors, exchanges, or fintech/financial institutions.
• Strong knowledge of exchange licensing frameworks, redistribution rights, and reporting obligations.
• Proven commercial negotiation skills and technical fluency with data distribution systems.
• Law degree or equivalent legal training preferred; 5+ years of hands-on market data licensing experience acceptable.
• Fluent English required (C1+); German is a plus but not mandatory.
