TL;DR

hirify.global is a space exploration company focused on performing resource prospecting on the moon through the development of lunar landers.

What you will do

  • Define product baselines, system architecture, standard requirements, and operations concepts.
  • Perform system-level trade-offs to evaluate design baseline changes across disciplines.
  • Manage technical budgets, including mass, propellant, and pointing/landing accuracy.
  • Coordinate internal interfaces between various spacecraft subsystems.
  • Conduct risk assessments and support the Project Manager in defining mitigation plans.
  • Support AIT/Flight&Test operations and maintain Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace Engineering or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of experience in at least two of the following: GNC (AOCS) design, implementation, integration, V&V, or operations.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Matlab, Python, or equivalent.
  • Working level English proficiency required.
  • Strong accountability, ownership, and ability to make key decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

  • Experience with other subsystems: Structure, Thermal, Avionics, Propulsion, Communications, or On-board software.
  • Experience with requirement decomposition, FMECA, reliability analysis, or hazard analysis.
  • Experience with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing and spacecraft operations.
  • Working level Japanese.
