Fraud Specialist for Acquiring (Payments)

Location: Vilnius, Lithuania; hybrid workplace with office attendance four times per week

Salary: Up to €3,500 gross per month, negotiable based on experience

What you will do

• Monitor real-time transaction activity and investigate card testing, BIN attacks, velocity spikes, and unusual merchant behaviour.
• Build, maintain, and optimize fraud rules, scoring models, thresholds, and fraud-monitoring workflows.
• Monitor Visa and Mastercard fraud programs and help merchants remain within acceptable fraud thresholds.
• Analyze transaction, fraud, and chargeback data to identify emerging patterns, threats, and key fraud drivers.
• Identify and escalate high-risk merchants and recommend risk mitigation measures.
• Prepare fraud reports and improve fraud decisioning using 3D Secure, device intelligence, and behavioural signals.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in fraud monitoring, transaction risk, or payment fraud, ideally in acquiring, PSP, EMI, or payment processing.
• Strong understanding of payment fraud typologies and experience distinguishing fraud attacks from normal transaction activity.
• Hands-on experience designing, maintaining, and optimizing fraud rules and scoring strategies.
• Strong analytical, organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills.
• Excellent written and spoken Lithuanian and English.
• Ability to work from the Vilnius office four times per week.
