Location: Hybrid (at least 2 days per week in office). Must be based near Cardiff, Bristol, Chester, or Leeds

Salary: £44,901 - £49,890

What you will do

• Communicate the business performance narrative and project future results during the planning process.
• Deliver high-quality month-end reporting and serve as a specialist in management accounting.
• Maintain robust financial controls as a core part of finance activities.
• Collaborate with a broad network of contacts across the Finance function to influence business outcomes.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to support strategic decision-making in Transport and Retail Finance.

Requirements

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or in the final year of qualification.
• 12+ months experience analyzing performance and explaining drivers to senior colleagues.
• 12+ months experience maintaining strong financial controls.
• Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvements to current processes.
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to engage with stakeholders across various business areas.

Nice to have

• Experience in business planning and budgeting.
• Experience in monthly performance reporting.
• Background in Financial Services.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft applications.
