Information Security Analyst (Cybersecurity)

Location: 100% remote from Portugal

Salary: €28,000–€52,000 per month

What you will do

• Detect and respond to security threats using XDR platforms such as Palo Alto and CrowdStrike.
• Manage vulnerability assessment and remediation with tools including Tenable and Qualys.
• Develop security automation and vulnerability management workflows using APIs, Python, or Bash.
• Test, validate, roll out, and roll back infrastructure changes safely and securely.
• Support security across Linux, macOS, Windows, cloud, and on-premise infrastructure.
• Apply security practices based on MITRE ATT&CK, NIST, and CIS frameworks.

Requirements

• 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Hands-on experience with XDR threat detection and response platforms.
• Practical experience with vulnerability management tools such as Tenable or Qualys.
• Scripting and automation skills with Python or Bash.
• Solid Linux and macOS knowledge and practical understanding of Windows.
• Knowledge of AWS or GCP infrastructure and interest in Infrastructure as Code principles.
