Network & Security Engineer (Azure/GCP)

What you will do

• Support the Product Owner in constructing the backlog and defining technical requirements.
• Collaborate with the Agile Delivery Lead for work estimation and timely delivery within the squad.
• Act as the primary technical point of contact for networking and security requirements.
• Design, execute, and document network changes, ensuring proper handovers to the BAU team.
• Perform migration work and disaster recovery tests, including potential out-of-hours support.
• Communicate technical requirements and designs effectively to stakeholders at all levels.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Azure networking including NSG, VNet peering, Route Tables, Private Link, and Load balancers.
• Experience with GCP networking such as NCC, HA VPN, VPC Network, and Routers.
• Hands-on experience with deployment, migration, and support of Azure vWAN Hub and Palo Alto Cloud NGFW.
• Ability to build VPNs between various cloud providers and appliances.
• Experience implementing Advanced Threat Protection features (Antivirus, URL filtering, Wildfire, etc.).
• Knowledge of Azure DNS, Infoblox DDI, Expressroute, and VNET gateways.

Nice to have

• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) management experience using Terraform, GIT, and Azure DevOps (ADO).
