Senior Java Developer (French Speaker)

What you will do

• Design and develop scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Manage and optimize relational and NoSQL databases including PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Oracle.
• Apply software design patterns and API-first principles to ensure system reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure and high-performance software solutions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Java Developer.
• Fluency in English (B2) and French (B2).
• Must be based in Portugal with Portuguese/EU citizenship or a valid work permit.
• Proven proficiency with CI/CD, DevOps tooling, and containerization.
• Deep understanding of microservices architecture and secure coding practices.
• Availability for hybrid work in Porto (2x/week).

Nice to have

• Experience with Spring Boot 3.x.
• Familiarity with PHP or .NET.
• Prior experience in the banking or financial sector.
