What you will do
- Own and manage an investor suspense pipeline, prioritizing files to meet service level agreements.
- Review loan documentation and investor conditions to clear outstanding suspense items.
- Partner with internal teams, aggregators, and investors to research and resolve file discrepancies.
- Navigate multiple systems and investor portals to track progress and document updates.
- Communicate professionally with internal and external stakeholders to gather necessary information.
- Identify recurring suspense issues and contribute to process improvements.
Requirements
- 2+ years of relevant mortgage operations experience, specifically in post-closing, suspense, or funding.
- Experience managing high-volume pipelines while meeting strict deadlines.
- Proficiency in interpreting loan documentation and identifying missing requirements.
- Strong system navigation skills and proficiency with productivity tools like Excel or Google Workspace.
- Must be based in the United States.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work through ambiguity.
Nice to have
- Experience working directly with investors, aggregators, or loan delivery partners.
- Familiarity with Airtable or similar workflow management tools.
- Experience in fast-growth or process-light environments.
