TL;DR
Mid Software Engineer (Fintech): Develop and scale secure, high-performance SaaS platform components for wealth management with an accent on frontend interfaces, data ingestion, and handling sensitive financial data. Focus on building seamless user interfaces, optimizing database performance, and operating Kubernetes infrastructure.
Location: Must live in Spain and be able to commute to Barcelona office three times a week
Salary: 35,000–50,000 EUR per year

What you will do
- Build seamless user interfaces for secure credential storage using Vue and Nuxt.
- Handle sensitive financial data ensuring performance, compliance, and traceability.
- Scale data ingestion systems to increase speed and capacity.
- Collaborate with the team using modern development workflows and AI tools.
- Own code quality and deployment beyond merging.
- Work with backend technologies including Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Kubernetes, Redis, and RabbitMQ.
Requirements
- Must live in Spain and be able to commute to Barcelona office three times a week.
- Fluent in English and Spanish.
- At least 4 years of experience in software engineering roles.
- Strong skills in frontend development with JavaScript/TypeScript and backend technologies.
- Experience with Kubernetes operations and database performance optimization.
- Good communication skills and autonomous coding ability.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of wealth management, investments, currencies, or crypto.
- Experience with async frameworks and ETL workloads.
