Location: Hybrid in Dubai, Krakow, London, or Madrid; Remote in Cyprus, Czech Republic, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Spain, and other specified European locations.

Compensation: PLN 9,500–46,600 gross monthly (for Poland/Krakow); other locations discussed during interview.

What you will do

• Build and scale APIs, jobs, and data pipelines to meet business requirements.
• Write event consumers to develop data models for new flows and processes.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists, Analysts, and Product Owners to deliver high-value features.
• Design and optimize systems for high-concurrency and performance.
• Ensure code quality and system reliability in a regulated financial environment.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer.
• 3+ years of experience engineering with Python as your primary language.
• Academic background in STEM.
• Fluency in Python, SQL, and other OOPLs.
• Practical understanding of distributed systems and concurrent code.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Teamcity, monitoring, and alerting.

Nice to have

• Experience with prototyping and sketching.
• Multiple side projects or open source contributions.
• Exposure to GCP.
