Software Engineer

TL;DR

What you will do

• Own tasks end-to-end, clarify requirements, implement features, and collaborate with QA to deliver quality software
• Write clean, maintainable code for both API and UI following established architecture patterns
• Build and modify frontend features using HTML, JavaScript (vanilla, jQuery, Vue.js), and CSS
• Write efficient SQL queries and understand the data you work with
• Participate in code reviews and coordinate cross-service changes with partner teams
• Leverage AI tools like GitHub Copilot to improve development workflow

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of professional software development experience
• Working knowledge of PHP or other server-side languages with willingness to develop PHP fluency
• Solid understanding of relational databases and SQL
• Familiarity with REST API design and consumption
• Ability to work independently and communicate proactively about blockers
• Location: Must be able to work on-site in Lehi, Utah, United States

Nice to have

• Experience with frontend frameworks, especially Vue.js
• Exposure to Docker, Linux/Apache, or nginx environments
• Experience with PHP-based web applications
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum workflows and JIRA
